Integrity in research

The qualifications of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness is integrity. It is generally a personal choice to hold oneself to consistent moral and ethical standards.

Having integrity means doing the right thing in a reliable way. It’s a personality trait that we admire, since it means a person has a moral compass that doesn’t waver.

Research integrity means doing research in a way which allows others to have trust and confidence in own methods. The use of honest and verifiable methods in proposing, performing, and evaluating research. reporting research results with particular attention.
