Introduction: Wihan du Plessis

Hi everyone
I am a 4th year BSc Physiotherapy student at The University of the Western Cape. I have a special interest in sport physiotherapy and I am hopeful that in the future I will be able to specialize in sport. I am an optimistic person who believes in making the best out of any situation, no matter how hard it might be. I am a follower of Christ and I am guided by my Christian values.
I am excited for this course, reason being that it is something totally unique and will push me out of my comfort zone. I am not a person who enjoys expressing my opinion on a public platform, but I am looking forward to developing this skill. I enjoy being challenged to think differently and I believe this course will do exactly that. In today’s world, one of the major issues are people who refuse to accept that there are different ways of thinking and just because they believe they are correct, they refuse to accept any other opinion. In ethics there are many different opinions and ideas. I look forward to explore and share these different opinions and ideas with students from different backgrounds and cultures.

  1. I like your thinking and positivity! Hopefully this will rub off on all of us. I also agree with your expectations of this course.

I think this statement is absolutely correct. I may also be guilty of not considering other opinions but I look forward to changing my way of thinking and perceptions.
